Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Little Cashier is developed and published by DeggiApps. This policy applies to the free Android edition identified by the package name com.deggiapps.littlecashier.free.
2. Information handled by the app
The app does not require an account and does not ask for an email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, or payment-card information. Store and cashier names, cart information, receipt information, settings, and ad-frequency counters are stored locally on the device.
3. Camera and barcode scanning
If camera permission is granted, Little Cashier uses the camera to scan barcodes and QR codes. Camera images and barcode contents are processed on the device using Google ML Kit. They are not saved by Little Cashier or sent to DeggiApps. ML Kit may process limited application, device, performance, event, and per-installation diagnostic information to maintain and improve its APIs; Google states that this information is encrypted in transit and is not shared with third parties.
4. Advertising in the free edition
The free edition uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) to display contextual, non-personalized interstitial advertisements. Ad requests are configured as child-directed and under the age of consent, with a maximum G content rating. Little Cashier does not use interest-based advertising or remarketing.
Google states that the Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share the following information for advertising, analytics, and fraud-prevention purposes:
- An IP address, which may be used to estimate a device's general location;
- App interactions, such as app launches, taps, and ad or video interactions;
- Diagnostic information, such as app or SDK performance and errors; and
- Device or app identifiers. Advertising-ID access is disabled in the current app version, although older versions may have permitted the SDK to access a resettable advertising identifier.
Information sent to Google is encrypted in transit. Google handles this information under its own privacy policies and data-retention practices. DeggiApps does not sell personal information.
5. Local storage, retention, and deletion
App settings and play information remain on the device until they are cleared through Android settings or the app is uninstalled. Cloud backup is disabled in the current app version. DeggiApps does not operate user accounts or retain this local content on its servers.
6. PDF receipts and sharing
A pretend receipt is created and shared only when the user chooses the share action. The receipt may contain the store or cashier name entered in the app. After the user selects another app or service, that third party handles the shared copy under its own privacy practices.
7. Children's privacy
Little Cashier is designed for children and families. The app does not knowingly collect names, contact information, precise location, camera images, or barcode contents from children. Advertising is configured for child-directed treatment and non-personalized delivery.
8. Support communications
If a user or parent voluntarily sends a support email, DeggiApps uses the message and reply address only to respond and to address support, security, or legal needs. A deletion request may be sent to the contact below.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app, its service providers, or legal requirements change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
