Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 30, 2026

Short version: Cosmic 4D Live Wallpapers renders real-time mathematical wallpapers locally on your device. It does not require an account, does not collect personal identifiers, and processes motion sensor data (gyroscope/gravity) strictly in real time on-device for 3D/4D parallax effects. The configuration screen uses Google AdMob for subtle advertisements and Google Play Billing for an optional "Remove Ads" purchase.

1. Who we are

Cosmic 4D Live Wallpapers is developed and published by DeggiApps. This privacy policy applies to the Android application identified by the package name com.deggiapps.cosmicwallpapers.

2. Information handled by the application

We do not require user registration or an account, and we do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, photos, contacts, microphone data, or GPS location data.

On-device motion sensors (Gyroscope / Gravity / Accelerometer): Used strictly in real time in memory to compute reactive 4D rotation and multi-layer parallax tilt while the wallpaper is visible on screen. Sensor readings are never recorded, stored, or transmitted off your device.
Local configuration (Jetpack DataStore): Your active wallpaper biome, smart rotation schedule, whitelist selection, OLED dimmer level, refresh rate mode, and lunar phase mode are saved locally on your device.

3. Device permissions

Live Wallpaper service (BIND_WALLPAPER): Used by the Android operating system to display the live wallpaper on your home and lock screens.
Network permissions (INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): Used to load advertisements via Google AdMob in the settings screen and to verify optional Google Play Billing purchases.
Billing (com.android.vending.BILLING): Used to offer the optional one-time "Remove Ads" in-app purchase through Google Play.

4. Advertising and Google AdMob

The configuration screen displays a banner ad and occasional interstitial ad via the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob), unless disabled via the "Remove Ads" option. The wallpaper engine itself never displays ads on your home screen or lock screen.

Google states that the Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and process limited device and diagnostic data for ad delivery, analytics, and fraud prevention:

IP address (used only to estimate general, non-precise region);
Ad interactions (impressions and clicks);
Diagnostic and performance metrics (crash logs and load times); and
Device or app identifiers, including the resettable Google Advertising ID.

Data transmitted to Google is encrypted in transit via HTTPS/TLS and governed by Google Privacy & Terms.

5. In-app purchases

All 6 cosmic wallpapers and features are 100% free and unlocked. We offer a single optional one-time in-app purchase (remove_ads_cosmic_wallpapers) to permanently remove advertisements. All payment transactions are processed securely by Google Play; DeggiApps never accesses or stores your credit card or billing information.

6. Data retention and deletion

Your wallpaper settings remain locally on your device until you clear the app's storage in Android settings or uninstall the app. You can reset or delete your Google Advertising ID at any time under Android Settings → Google → Ads.

7. Children's privacy

Cosmic 4D Live Wallpapers is a general-audience personalization app suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
